Embracing Equality for All
Dear LCLAA Members, Familia and Supporters,
On the significant occasion of Human Rights Day, we take a moment to reflect on the fundamental principles that embrace our collective struggle for a more just and equitable society.
Human Rights Day serves as a poignant reminder that the rights and dignity of every individual must be upheld and protected. Human rights and workers' rights are intricately intertwined, and as we commemorate this day, it is crucial to acknowledge the progress made and the challenges that lie ahead.
We stand firm in our commitment to advocate for the rights of workers, fair wages, safe workplaces, and the freedom to organize and collectively bargain. When we come together, we become a powerful force that can bring about positive change for the society at large.
In the face of emerging challenges, we must remain vigilant in defending human rights, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Let’s continue educating, inspiring, and mobilizing to contribute actively to the ongoing fight for a world where every person's rights are respected and upheld. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the journey toward a more just and humane society.
In solidarity,
Evelyn DeJesus LCLAA National President.
