Position Title: Advocacy, Justice, and Equity Associate

As a national 501(c)(3) Latino labor organization with chapters across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, LCLAA harnesses its power through advocacy, education, organizing, and engagement to advance the social, political, and economic well-being of Latino working families. Central to this mission are our advocacy, justice, and equity initiatives, which amplify the voices of Latino workers and drive systemic change. We seek a committed, collaborative, and creative professional to coordinate these efforts, strengthen our campaigns, and expand the visibility of LCLAA’s leadership in advancing justice and equity for our communities.

Position Overview:

The Advocacy, Justice, and Equity Associate will play a central role in advancing LCLAA’s mission to protect and promote the rights, dignity, and economic security of Latino working families. This position will support national and local advocacy efforts, coordinate campaigns and strengthen partnerships with allies committed to empowering Latino workers and their families. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a skilled organizer, and a passionate advocate who thrives in both grassroots and policy environments. Additionally, the Associate will collaborate closely with the Executive Director to identify funding opportunities that align with LCLAA’s advocacy, programs, and communications efforts at both the national and chapter levels. The Associate will contribute to grant writing and reporting to help sustain and grow LCLAA’s initiatives.

This is a salary position. The starting salary range is $60,000 - $65,000/year plus benefits. LCLAA offers a full benefits package including a 401K plan, and employer-paid health, dental, and vision plans for full-time employees and qualified dependents. Click HERE to learn more about the role.
