Karla (she/Her/ella) is a dedicated advocate for equity, with over 20 years of service at LCLAA. In her previous role Karla played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s capacity to empower Latino workers and advance social, economic, and racial justice nationwide. Her deep commitment to uplifting Latino communities embodies LCLAA’s mission and values.
Her passion for equity extends beyond her leadership. She is a trusted mentor and advocate who believes in the transformative power of inclusive organizing and civic engagement. Her work reflects an unwavering belief that when Latina and Latino workers are empowered, entire communities thrive.

With over a decade of dedicated service to journalism, Carmen (she/ella) is a proud Salvadoran and a passionate advocate for human, women, workers, and immigrants’ rights. She has tirelessly pursued stories that shed light on the struggles and triumphs of the Latino community, striving for justice and equality. She is committed to amplifying the voices and stories of women and Latino workers, addressing issues of gender inequality and discrimination.

Originally from El Salvador, Patricia (she/her) brings extensive experience in labor, women’s rights, civil, anti-corruption, and criminal law. Her commitment to justice and equity has guided her distinguished career in advancing protections for marginalized communities.
