LCLAA Applauds President Biden’s Administration for Granting TPS Status to Venezuelan Migrants

Washington, DC —The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) proudly applauds that on September 21st Biden’s administration made the decision to grant Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to migrants from Venezuela. This crucial step will provide much-needed support to countless individuals and families seeking refuge in the United States, especially in cities like New York, which have been graciously welcoming Venezuelan migrants over the last several months.

TPS status for Venezuelan nationals will undoubtedly alleviate the challenges faced by migrants who have been forced to leave their homeland due to political and economic turmoil.
