LCLAA on Hurricane fiona

Washington, DC - We are devastated by the destruction and loss caused by Hurricane Fiona. The Hurricane hit Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic earlier this week, leaving much of the islands flooded, without power and access to running water, and experiencing catastrophic landslides.

Unfortunately, this occurred while Puerto Rico is still recovering from Hurricane Maria, which struck the island five years ago to this day, killing nearly 3,000 people. Our hearts are with everyone in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic who has been impacted by this disaster.

In response to this tragedy, we are asking our members to donate to LCLAA to support our hurricane relief efforts. In the coming days, as we engage with unions on the islands we can provide more information on our relief efforts.
