LCLAA joins community-based organizations to urge Mayor-elect John Whitmire to appoint qualified individuals to positions throughout Houston’s city who reflect the full diversity of the city’s population. 

As we congratulate the Mayor-elect, we emphasize the need for Houston to be a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse city, where people can come together as a community.
