Fighting to protect our right to organize

Dear LCLAA Members and Allies,  Our country is currently in an unprecedented surge as more workers are realizing their power and organizing their workplaces. With this we have seen corporation after corporation try to block workers from exercising their right to organize, and we have seen them violate labor laws with weak repercussions. Our workers deserve stronger labor laws that can keep these employers accountable! Several Members of Congress reintroduced the Richard L. Trumka Protecting the Right to Organize Act  (PRO Act) earlier this week to accomplish this very goal. This legislation will protect our nation’s workforce from retaliation for striking, repeal “right to work” laws, and advance racial and economic justice. However none of this will become a reality if the bill fails to reach the floor or if it lacks the needed number of votes. This is where LCLAA comes in. I urge all of you to sign the petition to make our voice undeniable as we fight to protect Latino workers nationwide! Together our call can bring the change our community needs.
