Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King's Legacy by supporting immigrant workers
As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day approaches, we are reminded that solidarity and collective action are essential to ensuring our families are supported, our voices amplified, and our rights protected.
As we face new challenges in the years to come, we stand united in rejecting all anti-immigrant measures and actions that harm our community and the most vulnerable people.
At LCLAA, we reaffirm our commitment to justice, equality, and dignity for all workers. This is not a moment to stay silent but to act boldly—holding public servants accountable and condemning any support for anti-immigrant agendas.
As Dr. Martin Luther King did, let's continue to fight for fairness in the workplace, protections for Latino workers, and a brighter future for our families. Our unity is our strength, and through collaboration, we will rise above any challenge to build a more just and equitable society.
In Solidarity,
Evelyn DeJesus,
LCLAA National President.
