Let's Welcome the New Year
As we welcome the new year, we recognize that the challenges ahead may be immense. But with every new beginning comes new opportunities. It is now when we must stand strong and united, and reaffirm our commitment to advocating for and defending the rights of all workers and the well-being of all Latino families.
Ahora, entramos al tiempo de unidad. A time to stand strong together for the goodness of our Latino community. We must protect the hard-won achievements that uplift our families and strengthen our future.
In the face of uncertainty, being informed is more critical than ever. Let us commit not only to staying informed ourselves but to helping our friends, families, and neighbors understand the road ahead.
As we step into this year, let’s prepare to support those in our community who may face danger, family separations, or other hardships. Continuemos siendo, juntos, la voz de nuestros padres, de nuestros hijos, de los inmigrantes.
Together, we can be a source of strength and hope for those who need it most.
This new year, let us embrace our resilience, our unity, and our shared purpose. Continuemos juntos luchando por la justicia, la igualdad y el respeto a la dignidad de toda la comunidad latina.
¡Adelante en 2025!
Evelyn DeJesus,
LCLAA National President.
